Agaricus bisporus is the most popular cultivated mushroom—both in Poland and worldwide. It is valued for its delicate flavor and wide culinary use, often serving as a substitute for less accessible, seasonal wild mushrooms. Our offer includes three varieties of button mushrooms: white, brown, and portobello, which differ in color, cap size, and flavor intensity, providing a wide range of culinary possibilities.
The mushrooms are delivered to Jantex Foodservice Group directly from our own mushroom farms as well as from carefully selected, certified members of a producer group. This allows us to guarantee the highest quality and freshness of the product.
Fresh button mushrooms reach our facilities within a few hours of harvest. Each pallet is labeled with a barcode and directed to the next stage of the production process. Maintaining the FIFO principle (first in, first out) is crucial for us; therefore, every stage is subject to strict control. According to orders, pallets are sent directly to the packaging line, where the mushrooms are labeled, packed, and prepared for transport. Deliveries are carried out using Jantex Foodservice’s own vehicle fleet, enabling us to maintain the highest logistical standards and punctuality. As a result, customers receive a product that is fresh, natural, and rich in nutritional value.
Microbiology
Microbiological safety is one of the most important aspects of the food industry. For this reason, fresh button mushrooms are regularly subjected to quality inspections and microbiological testing in accredited laboratories. This ensures that the product meets all food safety requirements.
Certified quality
The highest quality of our button mushrooms is confirmed by IFS certifications and Global GAP. In addition, our offer includes organic (ECO) button mushrooms, which meet the requirements of organic farming and respond to the growing market demand for natural and environmentally friendly products.
