This mushroom species has unusual nutritional and health values. Oyster mushroom is a rich source of proteins, minerals, fibre and other antioxidants, and they also reduce the level of sugar and cholesterol. These mushrooms are native to Asia, while in Poland, the oyster mushroom is the second most popular cultivated mushroom, right after champignons.
